About the author: Karen Mauck is an avid reader and writer, and her dream since elementary school was to be a novelist. Besides writing romantic suspense, Karen's credits include newspaper reporting (a talent displayed in her first book, SCRAPS) and editing. She grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, and after a brief wanderlust for college at Michigan State University and reporting stints, she continues to live there. She has finished writing her latest masterpiece, NURSERY CRIMES, which she recently pitched to agents at the New Jersey Romance Writers conference.
